Whampoa Garden

We took the kids to Whampoa Garden, Hung Hom to the Jumpin Gym USA (美國冒險樂園). It is located at site 11 Treasure World. We pretty much took a taxi there from Kowloon Tong and it was around HKD 60.00 give or take.

I purchased 10 coupons from www.beecrazy.hk for HKD 75.00 each, according to the deal it is worth $300 which was totally bullcrap. After my calculation it is only worth HKD 25.00 for the token and HKD 80.00 for the ticketed rides. So about HKD 30.00 for the deal difference.

And the silly token rides cost 5 tokens each which was a total rip because if you redeem with the coupons it is worth HKD 2.00 per token and that comes to HKD 10.00 per ride that last for 1 minute. On top of that there was this special event that lasted til 12:30pm and one of my kids couldn't wait for an hour for them to let us in. And she threw a tantrum.

We went to Toys R Us to kill time only to end up spending more money getting the kids toys. At least my little girl enjoyed her piggie bank toy when she got home. And we spend a hour putting together a Mega Blocks spaceship for my boy.

We spent an hour and a half at the amusement park and ended up at The Spaghetti House which I did have some reservation of going in to get a seat. It was either this or the sushi place on the opposite end with a very long line. This was almost 2:00PM and the house was packed, but we didn't wait too long for our seats. I ordered the Tripoline Carbonara with Prawns and Dill and it didn't taste too bad but I think using bacon instead of sliced ham would have tasted way better. Overall it was pretty bland. The cream soup was also quite bland. We also ordered a baked Rigate with ham and it tasted exactly the same as the Tripoline. The fresh squeezed green apple juice was very refreshing. 

The service was great. The manager was very friendly and came by to us on several occasion to check on us. Maybe next year I will buy into their VIP card package.
